Coronavirus Safety Information

We are actively monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and will act in the interest of safety and well-being to our passengers.

The shop is now open with social distancing measures in place and we are now operating our coach tours once again.

K M Travel Coronavirus Safety

We would like to welcome aboard our customers as the government are now allowing hotels, pubs and restaurants to reopen, relaxing the social distancing rules from 4th July 2020. We are operating some tours in July/August and then returning to the full list of tours in our 2020 brochure from September.

We reopened our town centre office on the 15th June with Covid Secure Rules in place to protect our staff and Customers. These will continue for the time being so we would ask for your patience.  We are of course able to deal will all your booking and queries over the phone (01226) 245564.

Operating our Coaches Safely

As a result of Covid-19 and in line with government guidelines we have made a number of changes to how we operate our coaches.

  • A regular enhanced cleaning regime is now in place with particular attention being made to touch points (i.e. handrails, armrests etc.). Before every tour the coach will be thoroughly cleaned and our sanitising fogging machine used.
  • To allow for social distancing the number of passengers travelling will be significantly reduced and passengers should keep to their allocated seats. We may have to adjust seat reservations but we will make every effort to keep seats as close as possible to those booked.
  • When waiting to boarding the coach social distancing must be maintained at 2 metres where possible.
  • Upon boarding their coach there will be hand sanitising gel provided for passengers to use. We recommend passengers have a travel bottle of sanitiser and some anti-bacterial surface (non-bleach) wipes.
  • The use of face coverings on the coach are mandatory (subject to certain exemptions) and passengers look to maintain social distancing where possible. A face covering is a covering of any type that covers your nose and mouth. Passengers should provide their own face covering  although we shall make available face masks that can be purchased for a nominal amount.
  • The use of the coach toilet and coffee machine will not be available however we may make more comfort stops to account this. The on-board toilet will be available is case of emergency only.
  • For hotels to reopen they have had to comply to strict operating practices. These will be provided prior to departure for each hotel and customers are expected to follow their guidance throughout their stay.
